Kirkby Stephen has two inns offering accommodation, The Pennine Hotel and Black Bull. Just outside town is the Black Bull at Nateby. Ravenstonedale has the Black Swan Hotel and King’s Head, and close by The Fat Lamb. Brough offers The Inn at Brough and nearby luxury Augill Castle.

The two local campsites are Pennine View Park, on the outskirts of Kirkby Stephen and a short stroll to the town centre, and Low Greenside Farm Campsite, which is close to Ravenstonedale and very popular with walkers.
