Guided walks

There are regular guided walks in the area. Take a look in the events calendar for upcoming walks.

The 'Dawdles' walks take place throughout the year, usually leaving from the church cloisters in Kirkby Stephen market square once a week. The aim is to have a series of pleasant strolls in and around the town, in good company and gentle enough for all abilities. The majority of walks will be just over an hour, with the occasional 'Dawdle Extra' which goes a little further. All are welcome and there's no booking required - just turn up! For most walks there's a suggested donation of £1 each to help cover costs. Look under Events for the current programme.
